National Indigenous Women's Gathering 2023

The National Indigenous Women’s Gathering is a personal

development training program for those Indigenous women who are

tirelessly working in their respective communities and are passionate

about serving the people. The NIWG is built upon theories related to

individual and community healing, seeking to incorporate new ideas

and concepts as identified by Indigenous scholars, yet, creating a

space where we remember who we are as Indigenous women. NIWG

utilizes the Circleworks approach which is part of a certificate

program offered only at Maskwacis Cultural College, an Indigenous

Post Secondary Institution in Alberta, Canada.
